Allah sent the prophets to His slaves, and He sent with them signs and proofs to confirm that their message was true, so that proof would be established for people, leaving no excuse for anyone not to believe in them or obey them. Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning), "We sent Our Messengers with clear signs." (al-Hadid 57:25)
