Section I: Defining Voluntary Charity and Its Virtue
Firstly: Defining voluntary charity
Sadaqat al-tatawwu`: is the charity that is not wajib, but is given voluntarily for the sake of Allah.
Secondly: Among the virtues of voluntary charity
1. It is from the reasons of admittance into Paradise and emancipation from Hellfire.
2. It is from the reasons of salvation from the heat of the Day of Judgement.
3. That it brings blessings, increase, and better replacement from Allah, exalted.
4. It is greatly rewarded.
