Section 1: The ruling of the expiation of Dhihaar and the consecutive fasting of the expiation

The rulings of Dhihaar’s expiation: The scholars are in consensus that the expiation of Dhihaar comes in order as follows: freeing a slave, if this is not available, then fasting for two consecutive months, if fasting is not possible, then he must feed sixty poor persons. This agreement of the scholar is reported by Ibn Rushd, Al-Ramlee, al-Kharshee and al-San’aanee.
2. Consecutive fasting: The scholars are in agreement that it is obligatory to fast the two months of expiation consecutively. The consensus of scholars is reported by Ibn al-Munthir and Ibn Qudaamah.
