Section XIII: Motionlessness and Humility in Prayer

Firstly: Motionlessness in prayer
Motionlessness (when performing integrals) is an integral of prayer. This is the position of the Shafi`is and Hanbalis. It is the position of Abu Yusuf of the Hanafi school, one position in the Maliki school, and the position of Dawud al-Zahiri. Ibn al-Humam, Ibn `Abd al-Barr, Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Baz, and Ibn `Uthaymin chose this position.

Secondly: Humility in prayer
Humility in prayer is a confirmed sunnah, and this is by agreement of the four schools of jurisprudence.
