The waiting period of the woman who is separated from her husband via the means of Khul’ is one menses, which is one of the views reported from Imam Ahmad and the view of some of the righteous predecessors. It is the view of Ibn al-Munthir, Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn al-Qayyim, Ibn Baaz, and Ibn ‘Uthaymeen.
