Overall meaning : On the Day of Judgement, Allah will uncover His Shin and the unbelievers and hypocrites will be asked to prostrate themselves before Him, but they will not be able to do so. Their eyes will be cast down, and they will be overwhelmed with disgrace; for they used to be called in the life of the world to prostrate themselves to Allah when they were safe and sound, but they stubbornly refused to do so!
Therefore, leave to Me those who deny this Qur’an, Muhammad. Do not seek to hasten their destruction. We will lead them gradually to their ruin in ways beyond their knowledge. I will give them more time and not hasten their punishment: My scheme regarding them is firm and unfailing indeed!
Or do you ask them for a wage, Muhammad, for your conveying My message to them and so they do not respond to you, as they will feel weighed down by such wage and find it very difficult to pay it?
Or do they have knowledge of the unseen which they can write down?!
