Overall meaning : Those who oppose Allah and His Messenger will be amongst the most humiliated. Allah has decreed that He and His messengers will surely triumph and prevail in this life and the next. Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty.
You will never find, Muhammad, a people who truly believe in Allah and in the Last Day (Judgement Day) love and ally themselves with those who oppose Allah and His Messenger and transgress their limits, even if they were their very parents, their children, their siblings or their close relatives. In the hearts of these has Allah firmly established faith, and He has strengthened them with revelation, light and true guidance. He will, in the life to come, admit them into gardens below which rivers flow, in which they will abide for ever. Allah is well pleased with them, and they are well pleased with Him. They are the party of Allah, who staunchly support His religion. It is those belonging to Allah’s party who will truly be the successful.
