Overall meaning : Those who persecuted the believing men and women by burning them in the fire-filled ditch to turn them away from the truth and did not afterwards repent of what they had done to them will suffer the punishment of Hell and they will suffer the torment of burning. Those who believe and obey Allah’s commands by doing righteous deeds will have gardens under which rivers flow; that is indeed the supreme triumph.
