Overall meaning :
The Almighty continues to mention the qualities of His true servants, saying: They are those who do not attend any place where falsehood is said or done and do not bear false witness, and if they inadvertently pass by idle talk—or anything that is vain and frivolous—they turn away from it; and those who do not turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to the revealed verses of their Lord when they are reminded of them; and those who pray, ‘Our Lord, grant us good, righteous spouses and offspring so that we will rejoice when we see them obeying You in this world and when they enter Paradise in the hereafter, and make us a good example for those who do what You command and avoid what You forbid.
Allah will reward those who possess such qualities with lofty mansions in Paradise on account of their patience and perseverance in this world, and they will be received in them with greetings of welcome and salutations of peace. They will remain in such mansions for ever. What an excellent and permanent abode!
Say, Muhammad, to those to whom you have been sent: Were it not for your supplication to Allah Almighty, He would not care for you. Now that you, idolaters, have rejected the truth, the punishment will inevitably befall you in this world and the next.
