Overall meaning : Do those who perpetrate evil deeds suppose that We will make their life and death the same as that of those who believe and do good deeds?! Surely they are by no means equal. Wrong indeed is their judgement!
Allah has created the heavens and the earth with justice and wisdom and for a true purpose, and so that every person will be repaid according to his deeds. None will be wronged at all.
Have you, Muhammad, considered him who takes his own whims and desires as his god, and whom Allah, knowing him as such, has therefore let go astray, setting a seal upon his ears and his heart and placing a veil over his eyes that prevents him from perceiving the truth? Who, then, can guide him to the truth after Allah has left him to stray? Will you not, then, people, reflect and pay heed?!
