Overall meaning : To Allah alone belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. When the Day of Resurrection comes, the unbelievers, who are bent on following falsehood, will lose and be consigned to Hell! On that day, you will see, Muhammad, people of every faith community kneeling down, anxiously awaiting Allah’s judgement. Every faith community will be summoned to its record of deeds. ‘Today,’ they will be told, ‘you will be repaid according to your deeds. This Record of Ours faithfully bears witness to what you have done. We used to command the angels to record all your deeds.’
Those who believe and do good deeds will be admitted by their Lord into His Garden. That will indeed be the manifest triumph.
