Overall meaning : That punishment will fall upon them on the day when the sky will shake and reel violently and the mountains will move from their places with a great motion, becoming scattered dust. Woe betide on that day the unbelievers who are immersed in falsehood, totally heedless of the hereafter!
On that day they will be shoved roughly into the Fire of Hell, and it will be said to them, ‘This is the Fire which you denied in the worldly life. Is the punishment that you are now facing magic that is not real or are you unable to see it with your own eyes?! Enter the Fire and suffer its heat. It will be the same whether you bear it with or without patience, as nothing of that will benefit you. You rejected the truth in the life of the world, and so you are now only requited according to your deeds.’
