Overall meaning : We will supply the believers in Paradise with any kind of fruit and meat they desire. They will pass around cups of pure wine which, unlike wine of the worldly life, will not lead to idle talk, nor incite to sin. They will be waited on by youthful servants with perfect demeanor, as pure as virgin pearls still preserved in their shells!
They will approach one another, talking about their condition in the life of the world. ‘When we were in the life of the world,’ they will say to each other, ‘we used to be ever afraid of Allah’s punishment on Judgement Day, and so Allah has been gracious to us and saved us from the punishment of the Fire. We used to pray to Him alone in the worldly life. He is the All-Benign and the Most Generous towards His servants, the Ever Merciful to them.’
