Overall meaning : Ar-Rahmaan, the All-Compassionate, All-Bounteous God, has taught His servants the Qur’an, making it easy for them to memorise it and understand its meanings. He has created mankind (Adam and his descendants) and taught man speech, granting him the ability to clearly express his thoughts and feelings.
The sun and the moon run their appointed courses according to perfectly precise calculations, and the stars and the trees all prostrate themselves to the All-Compassionate God.
He has raised the sky above the earth and set up the balance of justice among people so that they may not exceed the limits and commit injustice. Weigh, then, with justice and do not give short weight or measure.
