Overall meaning : Those who are given their records of deeds in their right hands will joyfully say, ‘Here, take and read my record! Look at the rewards recorded in it!’ I was very certain in the life of the world that I will be resurrected on Judgement Day and be called to account for my deeds, and so I have prepared for this day.’
They will, therefore, be in a life of bliss, in an elevated Garden with lofty palaces and trees, whose fruits will be near at hand. They will be told, ‘Eat and drink delightfully and to your hearts’ content on account of the good deeds you did in the days of the world that are gone.’
