Overall meaning : The Almighty says: The righteous who do what Allah commands and avoid what He forbids will be amid Gardens and springs (such as springs of water and wine). It will be said to them, ‘Enter these gardens in peace, safe and secure from all harm, death and punishment.’ We will remove all feelings of enmity and rancour they had in their hearts towards each other in the worldly life. They will be as brothers, joyfully seated on couches facing one another. No fatigue or hardship will ever touch them there, and they will abide in it for all eternity and will never leave it.
Allah Almighty then instructs His Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to inform His servants that He is the All-Forgiving—who frequently forgives the sins of those who turn to Him in repentance—the All-Merciful towards them, and that His torment is the most painful for those who persist in their unbelief and sins.
