Overall meaning :
Allah will admit those who believe in Him and His Messenger and do good deeds gardens under whose trees and palaces rivers flow. Allah does whatever He wills. Whoever thinks that Allah will not help His Messenger Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in this world and in the hereafter, let him stretch a rope up to the ceiling of his house and strangle himself with it, and see then if this scheme will do away with the rage within himself; Allah will certainly support His Prophet Muhammad and will perfect His light, whether such a stubborn unbeliever likes it or not.
Just as Allah has made the previous verses clear, so, too, He has revealed the Qur’an in clear verses, in terms of both their wording and meaning. Because He guides with it to the truth whomever He wills, He has sent it down as clear verses.
