Overall meaning : Allah Almighty mentions the honour He has bestowed upon the human race and how He has exalted them over many of His creatures: We have honoured the children of Adam by lavishing upon them Our blessings, both outward and inward, provided them with transport on land and sea, provided them with wholesome things and greatly exalted them above a great many of Our creatures.
Then He mentions their fate in the life to come, when they receive the results of their work depending on their actions in this world: Mention to the people, Muhammad, the Day of Judgement, when We call every group of people with their leader whose example they used to follow in the life of the world. Those who are given their book of deeds in their right hand will read it with great pleasure, and the reward for their good actions will not in the least be decreased, even if it is so small as the size of the thread that is in the cleft of a date stone. But those who choose to be blind to the truth in this world will also be blind in the life to come and even farther astray from the right way.
