The story of the people of the town and what happened between them and the messengers whom Allah sent to them.
Highlighting some of the manifestations of Allah?s might and the blessings He bestows upon His slaves.
Some of the false claims of the polytheists, with refutation thereof, and describing the scene of their emerging from their graves on the Day of Resurrection for the reckoning and the requital.
What Allah, may He be Glorified and Exalted, has prepared for the believers in paradise, and what He has prepared for the disbelievers, and the testimony of their limbs and faculties against them.
Declaring that the Qur?an is far above being fabricated and that the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is innocent of what he was accused of, namely writing poetry; consoling him for what he was faced with; and explaining his role, which is to convey the message and warning.
The surah ends with affirmation of the resurrection, and refutation of one of those who deny it.
