Overall meaning : The unbelievers will be told on Resurrection Day, ‘Keep yourselves apart from the believers today, you evildoers. Did I not command you, Children of Adam, through My messengers, not to follow and obey Satan because he is clearly an outright enemy to you? Did I not enjoin you to worship Me alone? Worshipping Me alone is indeed a clear straight path for you to follow. Satan has already misled a great many of you. Did you not, then, understand his enmity to you and thus desist from obeying him?! This is Hell before your very eyes, of which you were warned. Enter it today to burn in it because of your unbelief in the life of the world.’
On that day We will seal their mouths so that they will not be able to speak. Their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify to the sins and misdeeds they committed in the worldly life!
Had We willed, We could have taken their sight! If they then tried to take their usual way, they would certainly not be able to; for how could they see? And had We willed, We could have transformed them into something else right in their places, so that they could move neither forward nor backward!
