Overall meaning : Among the clear signs for these idolaters of Our power to resurrect the dead is this: We send down water on the barren land, and thereby give life to it and bring forth from it different colours and varieties of grains for their sustenance. We make in it gardens of palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth in it, so that they may eat of its produce. It was not their own hands that made all this. Will they not, then, give thanks for such favours?!
Glorified and far Exalted above all defects and imperfections is Allah, who has created all the different kinds and all things in pairs (male and female)—of what the earth produces, of their own species and of what they do not know!
