Overall meaning : Your Lord, mankind, is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then He established Himself over the Throne (as befits His glory and sublime majesty). He disposes of all His creatures’ affairs. No one can intercede with Him on behalf of another on Judgement Day until He gives him permission to do so. That is Allah, your Lord; therefore, worship Him alone. Will you not reflect and take heed?
To Him alone will you all be returned on the Day of Judgement after resurrecting you from your graves. Allah’s promise is true and will certainly be fulfilled. He brings creation into being out of nothing and will then restore it and bring it back to life on the Day of Judgement, so that He will reward with equity the believers who do righteous deeds. As for the unbelievers, theirs will be extremely hot water to drink and a painful punishment for their unbelief.
