Overall meaning : Almighty Allah says: Allah drove back the unbelieving Confederates to their lands utterly empty-handed, seething with rage due to the fierce wind that struck them and for not having secured victory. They did not achieve any good at all, and Allah spared the faithful the need to fight and repelled the unbelievers. Allah is All-Mighty, All-Powerful.
