Overall meaning : Allah Almighty points out that the companions of Allah’s Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who believed, left behind the abode of unbelief to the abode of faith through their migration to Madeenah, strove hard with might and main, sacrificing their wealth and lives in the process, to make Allah’s religion reign supreme are, in Allah’s sight, far greater in rank than those who give water to pilgrims and tend the Sacred Mosque from among those who associate partners with Allah in His divinity, and it is they who will achieve the ultimate success. Their Lord, Exalted and Sublime be He, gives them the happy news of His great mercy and good pleasure and gardens in which they will dwell forever and enjoy lasting bliss. Surely there is an immense reward with Allah, which He will grant the believers in the hereafter.
