Overall meaning : Allah, Exalted be He, instructs His Prophet, Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, to say to all people: O mankind, I am the Messenger of Allah to all of you. To Him alone belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. There is no god worthy of worship but He. He alone gives life and causes death. Believe, then, in Allah and His Messenger, Muhammad, the illiterate prophet, who believes in Allah and His words (including all the scriptures He has revealed to His messengers), and follow him, so that you will be rightly guided.
